Introducing Rev. Steven R. Gibson

I count it a blessing to serve as your Interim Pastor! I will give you a brief history of my ministry: I met my wife, Jane Ritchie Gibson while we were students at Southern Seminary. She continues to serve as the musician
at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Franklin.
We have a son, Noah who lives in Austin, TX with his wife
Kari, and their children Henry (age 5) and
Claire (age 8 months). I retired from Franklin Baptist
following the Christmas Eve service after completing over
17 years of ministry in Franklin.

In July of 2022, I successfully completed training with the Center for Healthy Churches Interim Training, Raleigh, NC.

I will work diligently to learn your names. I request that you please repeat your name to me several times so that I may remember it.
Requests:
Please pray daily for your Pastor Search Committee and for Millfield Baptist Church
Please pray daily for Frank and Janet as they enter a new chapter in life
Please alert me to people that need a Pastoral Visit
Phillipians 1:3-6
3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
It is my joy to serve our Lord with you!
